Why go now?  For the past 50 years, Americans have been all but forbidden to travel to Cuba.  In 2017 travel restrictions were tightened again, making people-to-people travel to Cuba only possible through a licensed group tour.  Pretty Girl Painting is legally able to take any U.S. citizen to Cuba on an Art and Culture Tour.  According to travel experts, now is the time to visit- before restrictions change again, and while this incredible opportunity is still available to Americans.

Begin the tour in Havana, with accommodations at a beautiful coastal Casa Particular.  Meet leading artists in their studios and homes.  Travel east of Havana to see Ernest Hemingway’s evocative country retreat, Finca Vigía, and a new youth-centered cultural center in the town, Proyectongo.  Other highlights on this journey include an overnight excursion to western Cuba and  Viñales, in the Pinar del Río province, along with visits to other stunning UNESCO World Heritage sites. 

There will also be opportunities to savor Cuban cuisine during meals at paladares—privately owned restaurants sometimes located in the proprietor's home—and at a unique “field-to-table” organic restaurant.
